• Peter Thiel, first outside investor in Facebook and "close confidant" to Mark Zuckerberg, has said "democracy and freedom are incompatible". Dark Enlightenment neoreactionary Curtis Yarvin calls him "fully enlightened". He's an enthusiastic Trump supporter.
• Marc Andreessen of a16z, Meta board member, calls a fascist and a Dark Enlightenment philosopher a "patron saint" in his manifestor. He calls Curtis Yarvin "a friend" and enthusiastically supports Trump.
• Larry Ellison, CEO of Oracle new owner of TikTok, dreams of an AI-powered Big Brother state and said "Citizens will be on their best behavior, because we’re constantly recording and reporting everything that’s going on." His son, David, is building a pro-Trump media empire and the Ellisons have donated millions to Trump.
• Elon Musk, owner and CEO of Twitter/X, has thrown a Nazi salute, enthusiastically amplified antisemitic sentiments, and said "civil war is inevitable" at an anti-immigrant rally.

These platforms turn your time into money for the people dismantling democracy.

• Elon Musk helped elect Trump to the tune of $290 million and has committed $90 million to Republicans in the 2026 midterms.
• Jeff Yass, major investor in TikTok's parent ByteDance, gave $16 million to Trump's SuperPAC MAGA Inc. and $55 million to Republican candidates in the midterms.
• Larry Ellison donated tens of millions to Trump in 2024 through dark money groups that allowed him hide his donations. He's continued giving an undisclosed amount since the election.
• Peter Thiel funded JD Vance's run for Ohio Senate and brought him to Mar-a-lago to repair his relationship with Trump. He's been giving millions to Republicans and their causes.
• Marc Andreessen donated to Trump and a16z, his investment firm, has given over $100 million to Republican PACs.

The algorithm is not neutral.

• Meta’s move to de-prioritize “political” content cut reach for progressive acounts by up to 65%.
• On X, studies found Republican-leaning accounts systematically amplified and switching to the algorithmic feed moved users to the right.
• TikTok already showed a measurable right-wing skew before the sale. The new deal hands algorithm oversight to vocal Trump ally Larry Ellison’s Oracle.

The regime is taking control.

• Elon Musk exercises full control over Twitter / X. Egon Durban, Silver Lake co-CEO, helped him take over.
• The TikTok deal explicitly gives Trump ally Larry Ellison control of the US algorithm and US user’s data. It puts Egon Durban on the board.
• Meta added Trump allies Dana White and Dina Patrick McCormack to its Board. It then made McCormack President and Vice Chair. Marc Andreessan was already a board member.

You data is the regime's weapon.

These companies know who you are, who you organize with, and where you were last night.

• Meta voluntarily complied with DHS administrative subpoenas, de-anonymizing anti-ICE activists.
• DHS has sent hundreds of those subpeonas to identify people criticizing ICE online.
• Meta built a backdoor into WhatsApp, allowing them to read users private messages without warning or notice.
• Under the TikTok deal, Oracle holds all US user data and Larry Ellison speaks enthusiastically about AI-powered mass surveillance.

They can switch you off tomorrow.

• Meta deleted the ICE-tracking pages and groups activists used for rapid response.
• Pro-democracy and progressive activists across platforms have noticed their reach inexplicably falling.
